Key West Walkabout With A Camera

These are all photos taken last month while on a short walk about town before a night shift. I tend to overshoot so it takes me a while to work through all the photos (the end product is 1/3 of the shots I take workout into a picture with only 15 or so out of 300 frames being worthwhile in my opinion). I broke the images into 4 different categories, Shots I liked, Views of Key West, Nature and Covid Damage.

My Art

These are the shots I enjoyed. The provide a unique look into how I view the world around me.

Key West Walkabout

Just some nice views of Key West harbor area.

Nature Around Key West

One of the greatest things about living on a boat is the closeness to nature. These are all common scenes around the waterline of Key West

Covid Damage

These are common scenes (sadly) around Key West of the tragic damage done by the government’s reaction to the Covid Panic. Within in just a few months Key West lost over 200 businesses (based on closed commercial electrical service accounts closed). Most of these photos are from just the few blocks on Duval St, the major tourist strip in Old Town Key West, and represent only a small portion of the businesses closed on my short walk through town.
