The goal for this weekend was to finish up the exterior teak and other wood working projects. It was another scorcher this weekend, 90’s with 70% humidity and RealFeel was 104. I think the heat and humidity slows me down more than the work.
Another day of getting up early to beat the heat. Started sanding the varnish that was left on the hand rails. I taped off everything the night before once it cooled down so by 8 am I was treating the wood with cleaners. Overall I’m happy with the everything turned out. Now that the outside looks respectable and the BBQ is tested I’m ready to start the real work on the inside. Next weekend we start tackling the electrical system which will include a full rebuilt of the system from scratch.
Here are pictures (before and after) of today’s work.
